MADRID, 3 Apr (EUROPA PRESS) –

WiBLE, the new car sharing company of Kia and Repsol that will operate in Madrid, will have a fleet of 500 units of the Niro plug-in hybrid, a crossover with more than 50 kilometers of electric autonomy, the company said in a statement.

The joint venture operated 50% between the South Korean car company and the Spanish energy company will be the first car-sharing company that will provide coverage to the periphery of the capital of Spain.

Due to its zero emission condition, the Kia Niro plug-in hybrid can circulate without restrictions and can be parked free of charge in the regulated service areas of the Spanish capital.

In addition, according to the company itself, with this model, with five seats and with a total autonomy of 600 kilometers (between the electric and internal combustion engines), users can reach large shopping centers and spend the day at the outskirts of the city.

WiBLE also underlines that it will be the only car sharing service in Madrid to have a certified car with 5 Euro NCAP stars.

Javier Martínez Ríos, formerly responsible for the fleet department of Kia Motors Iberia, has been named CEO of the company in Spain. “WiBLE seeks to go further in the car sharing sector, offering quality and flexibility, and has a firm idea: to guarantee all citizens access to an optimal, personalized and quality service, but also affordable”. indicated.
