AVTOVAZ announces the start of serial assembly of the LADA cars in Uzbekistan, together with its local partner Roodell. The first LADA Vesta SW/SW Cross), XRAY Cross and LADA Largus/Largus Cross cars are being produced and shipped to the LADA dealer network.LADA assembly is organized at the new ADM Jizzakh automobile plant, located in the Jizzakh Free Economic Zone in Uzbekistan and operated by Roodell teams. The assembly process was established considering all the requirements for equipment, operations guidelines and quality control of AVTOVAZ. All the personnel involved in the project have received the necessary training.Uzbekistan is one of the key export markets for AVTOVAZ, and the LADA brand is well known and loved by country citizens.This new stage of cooperation with Roodell will allow to support LADA development in Uzbekistan market, providing modern quality cars and high-quality service to clients. Local assembly will make LADA cars more accessible to consumers for purchase on credit, as well as under the Trade-In program. In addition, the local assembly will expand the reach of customers by participating in government procurement.It should be noted that in 2020, more than 5,000 LADA cars were sold in Uzbekistan through the Roodell dealer network, which includes 18 dealerships throughout the country.
