2021/10/21
PARIS – Today marks the official opening of the Nissan Regional Business Services (NRBS) in Budapest, Hungary, a new addition to the existing Shared Service Centre (SSC) already operating in the region.
Bringing additional professional talent to Budapest, this increased scope will see the team continue to play a strategic role in standardising practices from functions across the Nissan business.
The Alliance-operated Renault Nissan Technical Business Centre India (RNTBCI) will also see expanded activities.
This new chapter builds on past success and a strong foundation, continuing to strengthen business discipline across Nissan’s AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, and Oceania) region.
“The expansion of our Budapest SSC with the opening of the Regional Business Service is an exciting milestone for us. Combined with the Renault Nissan Technical Business Centre India, we have sharpened the focus of our business by centralising Finance, HR and IS/IT to continue our efforts to build a bright future for the entire AMIEO region,” said Samar Elmnhrawy, Region Vice President, Human Resources & General Affairs, Nissan AMIEO.
“We acknowledge the strategic role our SSC employees play in helping Nissan deliver on its transformational business objectives and it’s clear from initiatives like this that the turnaround is well underway.”
Since opening in 2017, Nissan’s SSC team in Budapest has more than doubled in size, and as activities and responsibility increase, growth is expected to a total of 250 people. Building on the strength of this forward-thinking environment, this new department is a key indicator of the significant investment Nissan in is placing in its SSC as part of its Nissan NEXT mid-term plan.
