Cabify invites taxi drivers, politicians and mobility services to put aside their differences, in an event with which the Spanish company tries to gather all the actors involved in mobility for the first time and look for formulas that improve the existing situation in the cities.
According to the firm, through which vehicles with driver can be requested, the concentration of people in the urban centers, the rapid growth of cities and the irruption of technology and innovation are leading to a series of changes in the industry. Mobility.
In addition, he assures that the tension between traditional models and new options arising from technology has been a “constant” in recent months.
In this context, the Spanish firm has decided to take a step to open new channels of dialogue and collaborate with institutions, taxi and all mobility services. In Spain there have been “alarming situations” such as the “intentional” burning of 9 cars that collaborate with Cabify in Seville and the development of general taxi strikes that have “paralyzed” the traffic of the cities and “hindered” the displacements of the citizens, as well as “attacks” on drivers who collaborate with mobility platforms.
In this context, the Spanish firm has decided to take a step to open new channels of dialogue and collaborate with institutions, the taxi sector and all mobility services.
“The objective is to exchange points of view, propose constructive solutions, achieve a regulatory framework that does not leave behind traditional sectors and that does not harm the development of new models and above all that benefits all citizens”, the company details.
Thus, Cabify has organized for the next April 12 at 11.00 a “public conversation” that can be followed in ‘streaming’ through the web: www.haciadondenosmovemos.es. In addition, the event will be open to anyone who wants to participate through social networks with the hashtag # HaciaDóndeNosMovemos.
