Tuesday 14th December 2021, Prague/Manchester – Praga Cars UK is delighted to announce the appointment of Lucy Burman as the company’s new Communications Manager.

The appointment comes as the latest step towards building an industry-leading team to support Praga Cars UK at the newly established global brand centre. The 114 year old Czech engineering company is best known for its world championship-winning karts and R1 racing car.

Lucy will contribute to the strategic development of Praga’s PR and digital marketing activities, focusing on the global expansion of the brand and the promotion of the new Praga Cup, Praga’s first one-make race series. Lucy will also manage multi-channel social media activity and content production, as well as the company’s growing relationships with high profile influencers.

Lucy Burman, Communications Manager, Praga Cars UK, said: “Praga has been on my radar ever since Mark Harrison joined the company in 2020. I can’t imagine a more exciting role than to join Praga during such a historic chapter in the brand history. Over the last year, Praga has well and truly put itself on the map in UK motorsport, and the plans for 2022 will continue to take Praga to a new level. Anyone who still hasn’t heard of Praga will be hearing about them from me very soon.”

Lucy brings a wealth of experience with over seven years in the automotive sector, spanning the tyre industry, classic and collectible cars, and motorsport, having worked as an account manager in an automotive specialist agency and as a freelancer. She joins Praga after a recent relocation to the North West and begins with immediate effect based at the new Praga Cars UK HQ in Cheshire.
