Hyundai won six of the 10 most prestigious automotive awards in North America and Europe this year, more than any other automaker in the world, the company said on Wednesday.
It was the first time that Germany — an auto manufacturing powerhouse — selected a Korean brand as its best car.
British automobile magazine Top Gear named Hyundai’s high-performance i20 N as Car of the Year and Hyundai the Manufacturer of the Year.
