 –    Senate Republicans won’t get a second chance to question judicial nominee Nusrat Choudhury after they made the last week.  If confirmed to the Eastern District of New York, Choudhury will be the first Muslim woman federal judge in the U.S. 

 –    Longtime Republican lawyer Chuck Cooper of the D.C. firm Cooper & Kirk has stepped into the legal fight over the Pennsylvania Senate GOP primary, filing a lawsuit Monday on behalf of candidate David McCormick that asks a court to force the counting of undated mail-in ballots. 

 –     K&L Gates hired three renewable energy partners from Husch BlackwellJohn Crossley, Jim Goettsch and Brogan Sullivan — to open a new office in Kansas City, Missouri.
