Former Fiat Chrysler automaker offer Serbian workers electric car training – Autonews.com

Stellantis has not given more details on which vehicle will be built at the plant but CEO Carlos Tavares said last month that its platform would “fit perfectly” with vehicles in the minicar, small and compact segments.

“This new platform for electric vehicles will fit perfectly with products from A, B and C categories and will improve efficient and clean solutions for urban mobility of our brands,” Tavares said.

Motoring press reports have said the second EV that could be added at the factory might be an electric version of the Panda minicar.

Serbia has a 33 percent stake in the factory, which formerly built Yugo cars under the government owned Zastava Automobili business.
