Huracán Tecnica at the Premiere Parade and on display
Sant’Agata Bolognese, June 16, 2022 – From June 16–19, Automobili Lamborghini is taking part in the Milano Monza Motor Show with an exclusive showing of its newest Huracán Tecnica[1]. Announced in April and unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, the last born of the V10 line-up will be on display in Milan’s Piazza Duomo for the entire duration of the MiMo show.
Automobili Lamborghini Head of Design Mitja Borkert represented the company during opening day on June 16 and will be on board the Huracán Tecnica for a dynamic preview at the Premiere Parade of the show’s most representative models that evening.
“Our latest creation has a sophisticated and totally reimagined design that reflects from every angle its well-defined threefold personality: a road-legal super sports car offering an iconic and attractive lifestyle choice every day, yet technically and dynamically equipped for the racetrack,” says Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Automobili Lamborghini. “Every element is imbued with the energy of aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight engineering, paired with an unmistakable elegance that makes the Tecnica a standout in the Huracán line-up. And as always, customers have the widest possible choice of customization, both interior and exterior, thanks to our Ad Personam program.”
As its name suggests, Tecnica embodies the advanced development in technical efficiency within the V10 family, and the innovation comes through in this model’s looks as much as in what’s under the hood. The stylish lines give a clue of the aerodynamic improvements achieved, for a whole new level of performance, stability and ease of use, especially on the track. The engine is that of the Huracán STO[2], which can generate 565 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm maximum, resulting in an enhanced acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
Also on display in via dei Mercanti will be a Huracán EVO Spyder[3] flaunting a one-off livery, a 1:1 scale Lamborghini take on the style of the famous Hot Wheels toy cars. A project of Lamborghini’s Centro Stile, the Hot Wheels livery dons a three-layer Verde Alceo green and the iconic flame design on the side of the car.
In addition, versions of the Urus[4], Aventador SVJ[5], and Huracán STO and EVO RWD Spyder[6] will be taking part in the Journalist Parade on Saturday, June 18 at the Monza circuit.
Other activities are scheduled to take place in parallel between Saturday and Sunday, promoted by Lamborghini Milan and Lamborghini Bergamo dealers. This includes a participation in the Monza circuit leg of the Mille Miglia rally plus a Bull Run, where around twenty of the brand’s clients will show they know their way around the race track. Lamborghini hospitality will be present in the paddock area with a Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 on display, with plenty of other on-track activities featuring the cars from Sant’Agata Bolognese.
