The first Corsa rolls off the assembly line in 1982 – the starting signal for a success story that continues to this day. For the 40th birthday there is a special “40 years” edition – strictly limited to 1,982 copies. Each of these has an individual numbering from 0001 to 1,982 on the instrument panel.
Like the Corsa A, the anniversary model also demonstrates its penchant for unconventional chic: the interior designers have brought the characteristic striped check pattern of the seat covers to life again in a modern interpretation.
The real fans wear the same look on their feet as the Corsa.
And because the striped check pattern is so beautiful, the “Corsa 40 years” comes with an anniversary box with socks in a vintage design (photo above) and in the original design from back then (photo below). A limited edition of the stylish fashion accessory will soon be available in the Opel Lifestyle Shop.
The black roof and numerous black applications, such as the 17˝ alloy wheels, form a nice contrast to the new “Rekord Rot” paintwork.
The “40 years” edition of the Corsa not only has cool socks on board, but also lots of comfort and safety features – from multimedia radio and LED headlights to electronic helpers.
The Corsa is more in demand today than ever – especially as an emission-free Corsa-e.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the most desirable of them all? The Corsa is the best-selling small car in 2022 on the German market. And its counterpart, the Corsa-e, was the best-selling battery-electric vehicle in Germany in May.
