The local automobile structures in Italy that have achieved the European quality certification “Effective CAF User”, issued by the Department of Public Administration, have risen to 36. The Directorates of Rome, Bari, Genoa, Palermo and the AC Latina have been recognized, in fact, as administrations that effectively use the CAF model (Common Assessment Framework – Common evaluation grid), defined at European level, in the scope of collaboration between the public administrations of the Member States, for the management of total quality.

The optimal use of the CAF model allows – after careful evaluation by the bodies in charge – the achievement of the coveted CEF (CAF External Feedback) certification, which recognizes, at community level, an organizational culture focused on the continuous improvement of services for the satisfaction of citizens. and, in general, of the community. The systematic and structured use of both tools has allowed ACI to excel in the network of European administrations that help strengthen the capacity of the Public Administration to operate in a transparent, digital and inclusive manner, also in line with the objectives of cohesion policy financed with the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESI).

The officials of the Department of Public Administration appreciated the particular commitment of the ACI structures in the implementation of the project – coordinated centrally by the Director of the Presidency and General Secretariat, Sabina Soldi – which involved public and private interlocutors regarding issues of great economic importance and social, such as the simplification of work processes related to the Single Document for motorists, the improvement of the accessibility of Tax services and the development of services in favor of local mobility.

During the assessment, the importance of the organizational improvements made within the ACI offices in response to continuous technological, social and economic changes, linked to regulatory changes and even the pandemic situation with the consequent spread of agile work, emerged.
