Aeroméxico announces the closing of the PLM Transaction

(together with Aerovías de México, S.A. de C.V., “Aeroméxico”) (BMV: AEROMEX) is pleased to announce, following our prior relevant event of June 30, 2022, that the transaction (the “PLM Transaction”) to obtain total control over Aeroméxico’s loyalty program, Club Premier, has closed.  By consummating the PLM Transaction, Aeroméxico has achieved a key long-term goal as PLM, the owner and operator of Club Premier, will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grupo Aeroméxico, S.A.B. de C.V.  Aeroméxico thanks Aimia for a long and successful partnership, and is excited for the future of Club Premier—Mexico’s leading airline loyalty program.
