Amberg, 24. Oktober 2019 – Die Grammer AG (“Grammer”) befindet sich in fortgeschrittenen Verhandlungen zur Begründung eines Joint Ventures für Automobil Interiorkomponenten in Changchun, China mit Changchun FAWSN Group Co., Ltd., einem mit der FAW-Gruppe verbundenen Unternehmen. Grammer wird 50 Prozent an dem zukünftigen Joint Venture GRAMMER FAWSN Vehicle Parts Co. Ltd. halten. Die restlichen 50 Prozent werden von der Changchun FAWSN Group Co., Ltd. gehalten.
Das Joint Venture wird eine breite Palette von Komponenten für den Fahrzeuginnenraum produzieren, die vor allem in die von der FAW-Gruppe hergestellten Fahrzeuge eingebaut werden. Die FAW-Gruppe ist der drittgrößte chinesische OEM und hatte im vergangenen Jahr mit eigenen Marken und
zusammen mit anderen Joint Venture-Partnern einen zweistelligen Marktanteil in China, dem größten Automobilmarkt der Welt. Grammer erwartet aus diesem Joint Venture eine erhebliche zukünftige Umsatzsteigerung.
