Lamborghini Doha is showing the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 on its stand at this year's Qatar Motor Show. The car was launched in spring 2014 and contributed to Automobili Lamborghini's 2014 sales success, both worldwide and in the Middle East.
Delivering a total of 2,530 cars worldwide last year (an increase of 19% on the previous year) 2014 saw a new sales record for the Italian super sports car manufacturer.
The V10 Lamborghini Huracán collected more than 3,300 orders by the end of 2014, with 1,137 Huracán delivered to customers starting from summer. The Lamborghini Aventador also achieved an all-time record result for V12 Lamborghini models with 1,128 units, in both Coupe and Roadster versions, delivered to customers last year (an increase of 13% over 2013).
Confirming its position as one of Lamborghini's top three markets worldwide, the Middle East region saw a growth of 51% in deliveries to customers in 2014, with Qatar reflecting the market's strength. Lamborghini Aventador deliveries to customers in the region were up 16% compared to 2013.
As a global brand, distribution is well balanced, with EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), America and Asia Pacific each accounting for approximately one third of sales.
''The Middle East continues as a strong market for Lamborghini. Our brand is very established and sought after, with a strong demand across both V12 and V10 products,'' said Christian Mastro, Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Automobili Lamborghini. ''The Middle East clearly reflects our global success seen in 2014 deliveries to customers.''
The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 is a luxury super sports car with breathtaking performance: accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and with a top speed of more than 325 km/h, it is propelled by a naturally aspirated V10 engine with 5.2-liter displacement and 449 kW / 610 hp. The Lamborghini Huracán sports an extremely fast-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch transmission “Lamborghini Doppia Frizione” (LDF), and all-wheel drive in a hybrid carbon fiber and aluminum chassis.
The Lamborghini Huracán is priced at $255,150.00 USD without taxes.

This morning, at 9 a.m. on the dot, the 350 vehicles taking part in the Lamborghini Grand Tour started their engines and set off towards Forte dei Marmi. Leaving the parc fermè in Milan, capital of Italian design, fashion, and finance and starting point of the Grand Tour behind them, the roaring supercars from the House of the Raging Bull set off towards Forte dei Marmi, one of the most exclusive and fashionable resorts on the Tyrrhenian coast and birthplace of the Italian bourgeoisie's luxury vacations of the 1960s.
The convoy covered 270 km, taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Aveto Natural Regional Park and the Trebbia River valley, described by Hemingway as one of the most beautiful in the world, stopping for lunch at the Saint Columbanus Monastery in Bobbio. On reaching their destination, the Lamborghini cavalcade parked up in Forte dei Marmi's “living room” – Piazza Marconi, right in the center of town – to the surprise and admiring glances of residents and holidaymakers who are usually no strangers to seeing powerful cars driving through.

A convoy of 350 Lamborghini super sports cars will leave from Milan on 8 May, as the biggest reunion ever of cars from the House of the Raging Bull start their Grand Tour as part of Lamborghini's 50th Anniversary celebrations. The tour will pass through the beautiful landscapes of Lombardia, Toscana, Lazio, Umbria and Emilia Romagna, stopping over in Forte dei Marmi, Grosseto, Roma, San Giustino Valdarno and Bologna, where they will arrive on 10 May in the afternoon.
On Saturday 11 May the Lamborghinis will depart again for Sant'Agata Bolognese, for the final celebrations of the 50th anniversary.
The convoy will be more than 4.5 km in length, with a dramatic combined power of more than 190,000 hp. It will be a true open air exhibition of all the models that wrote the history of the brand. From the first car produced in 1963, the 350 GT, it will include virtually the entire model range right up to the current Gallardo and Aventador models. Drivers and co-drivers will arrive from all over the world: with 65% men and 35 women, their ages range from 22 to 75 years old, underlining the passion for the brand that stays from one generation to the next.
The first rendez-vous is in Milan, on 7 May at 10.00 am, when the Lamborghinis will be parked at the parc fermé in Piazza Castello, and from there will leave the following day to Bobbio.
Content from the event will be available next week.
