Sunday 28 July, 2019, Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium): Aston Martin has claimed victory in the Pro-Am class of a rain-interrupted 2019 TOTAL 24 Hours of Spa, after a brilliant performance by partner team TF Sport Racing with Oman with the new Vantage GT3. It was the maiden win in a 24-hour race for Aston Martin Racing's new customer-focussed machine and also the first for the British sportscar marque since the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup event became a GT3-only competition.

Tuesday 23 June, 2019, Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium): The 2019 TOTAL 24 Hours of Spa will feature the strongest ever Aston Martin partner team entry as the British luxury sportscar manufacturer bids to secure its first outright victory in the legendary Belgian race this weekend.
With no less than six Vantage GT3s in the race, it is the largest frontline Aston Martin contingent entered in the event – the blue riband round of the Blancpain GT Endurance Series. The cars will be run by some of AMR's most valued partner teams Garage 59, R-Motorsport and TF Sport, and they will be buoyed by Optimum Motorsport's impressive win with the car at Spa in the domestic British GT Championship last weekend.

PALO ALTO, Calif., July 18, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — UPDATE: Please note the call is being moved by one hour to 3:30pm Pacific Time (6:30pm Eastern Time).

Tesla will post its financial results for the second quarter of 2019 after market close on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Schaeffler to sell plant in Hamm to management

HAMM, June 30 (Press Release) – The automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler and the management team of Schaeffler Friction Products Hamm GmbH signed an agreement last Friday under which the management of Schaeffler Friction Products Hamm will take over the ownership of the company, effective today. The management buyout will save all 110 jobs at the Hamm location. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The sale is not subject to competition regulatory approval and the transaction is expected to be completed in the near future. The resulting new company will be named INNO FRICTION GmbH.
Schaeffler Friction Products Hamm currently makes carrier plate-type friction linings for dry dual-clutch systems especially for the Schaeffler Group. At its peak, production of this part accounted for about 60 percent of the company’s revenues, but in recent times there has been a sustained and significant fall-off in demand.
