Funding Societies Pte Ltd. has appointed Singapore country head Simon Xie as the new CEO of its entity in the city-state, according to regulatory filings accessed by DealStreetAsia.
The online lending platform’s co-founder Kelvin Teo, who was also CEO of Funding Societies Singapore until last week, will continue to serve as Group CEO, he told DealstreetAsia. “Funding Societies Pte Ltd is one of 10+ entities we have as a group. As the group scales, I have to delegate some and expand my leadership bench,” said Teo.
