Concrete mixing plants are technological complexes. They consist of plants with different functions that work together to make mortar. Special machines are used for the production of ready-mixed concrete, which is used on various construction sites.
Operation and classification of concrete mixing plants
With these concrete batching plants the following sequence of operations is performed:
Acceptance and organization of storage of components necessary for the production of concrete.
Feeding of the raw materials into the mixing unit according to the proportions provided in the recipe.
Mixing of the components and subsequent delivery of ready-mixed concrete.
The concrete batching plants are divided into two types depending on the mode of operation, i.e. H. the systems with continuous and those with cyclic operation. The first type is designed for non-stop production and the second for batch production.
With a non-stop application, all work phases are carried out continuously and in parallel. When cyclic systems are used, the operations – filling, mixing and emptying – are repeated periodically.
Depending on the type of installation, concrete mixing plants are divided into the following types:
stationary plants. These are installed in a specially prepared place on the foundation. The focus is on the production of large series, which ensures full automation of the manufacturing process.
Mobile systems. These are installed on small plots of land in the immediate vicinity of the construction site. These technological complexes are transported to the place of use by one or more trucks. The assembly and disassembly of the devices takes a few hours.
Mobile systems. These are used on construction sites with large areas, e.g. As bridges and tunnels used. The installation can be done on temporary foundations.
Structure and structure of plants
The concrete mixing plant consists of the following components:
Software. The software ensures the trouble-free operation of the plants and the required properties of the concrete produced and takes care of the process automation.
loading units. This group includes aggregate hoppers, conveyors, cement silos and augers. The facility is required for the transport of raw materials from the storage areas to the dispenser.
dosing systems. The plant separates the required amounts of aggregates, cement and liquids for the building mix according to the selected recipe.
Concrete mixer. It is a complex unit in which the concrete components are mixed.
Depending on the configuration, concrete mixing plants can be designed as linear or nested plants. In the first variant, the devices carrying the complex are placed in one or more parallel rows. A dispenser and flow hopper should be installed near each mixer.
An interleaving system is considered more advantageous. All necessary accessories are placed around the mixer. A set of dispensers is required for it to work.
When choosing a concrete batching plant, the area of u200bu200bthe use is taken into account, which determines the requirements for the characteristics of the plant. Power is the most important parameter of a machine. It is calculated based on the average laying intensity of the concrete.
This number can reach up to 300 cubic meters per hour in large systems. The mini systems have an output of 5 cubic meters per hour. Machines capable of producing 50 cubic meters of concrete per hour are popular in the construction industry.
