Dan DeRubeis, brand manager for the Lincoln Corsair, is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy for the brand’s small luxury SUV and top-selling vehicle.
DeRubeis began his career with Ford and Lincoln over 20 years ago, working in regional sales and operations positions before moving into business development and communications. More recently, he has served in a series of product marketing and brand management roles involving vehicles, services, and technology.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, DeRubeis earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational studies and psychology before earning his MBA from Arizona State University with an emphasis on marketing. He credits his passion for the automotive business to an internship with Ford. “I was drawn to the way marketers develop a deep understanding for consumers, influence the product development and design processes, and create strategies to engage people in creative ways with innovative products,” he said.
DeRubeis said this point in his career is an exciting one – bringing new and electrified products to market such as Corsair and the Grand Touring plug-in hybrid model, introducing new technology to the luxury market, and being a member of Lincoln during the brand’s 100-year anniversary are things he will always remember.
In his spare time, DeRubeis enjoys traveling, sports, live music and spending time with his wife and children.
