DeepWay, a Baidu-backed startup that develops smart, new energy heavy-duty trucks, announced on Tuesday the completion of its first external funding round of 460 million yuan ($67.1 million) to power trucks with autonomous driving technology.
Chinese venture capital (VC) major Qiming Venture Partners led the Series A round, with participation from investment firm Vlight Capital, China Construction Bank’s subsidiary CCB Trust, and Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group, the global technology fund of China’s Lenovo Group, according to a statement.
