With global investors diversifying their portfolios against a backdrop of uncertainty and challenges in China – the largest market in Asia – Southeast Asia should see more private capital allocations.

“There have been a few Southeast Asian IPOs, and [their] performance aside, there’s a lot of interest in Southeast Asia now because sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and even some of the Chinese strategics are interested to look for investment opportunities here,” said Soo Yar-Ping, Partner at Adams Street Partners in Singapore.
