Global engineering group Segula Technologies is looking to make the most of the growing demand for electric vehicles in India. After expanding its Chennai office at the beginning of the year, Segula India has just opened a new office in Pune, dedicated to the development of embedded software.
Segula Technologies, which has already been working in various industry sectors in India since 2012 and currently has more than 700 employees in Chennai, Delhi, and Pune, now plans to recruit around 500 engineers, especially engineers responsible for software and embedded systems, mechanical plastic engineers, process engineers, manufacturing engineers and data scientists.
“We look forward to welcoming hundreds of new qualified engineers at Segula India,” says Dwijottam Ganguli, Managing Director. “By joining us they will have the opportunity to work on varied and large-scale local and global projects and to deepen their knowledge in all aspects of new technologies around e-mobility. We attach particular importance to a great working environment and to the training of our employees throughout their working lives.”
In the automotive and bus sector, Segula India has a strong expertise in process and product engineering for various automotive customers particularly in the fields of body, plastics, chassis, aftersales and packaging. The Segula teams in Pune will support major OEM and automotive Tier 1 suppliers in the development and production of more sustainable and competitive cars. They will particularly focus on the design and development of embedded software, whereas the teams based in Chennai will work on product and process engineering.
