Grab has promoted Suthen Thomas Paradatheth to group chief technology officer while Indosuez Wealth Management has appointed two market heads for its Singapore branch.

Paradatheth named Grab group CTO 

Southeast Asia’s superapp Grab has announced that it has promoted Suthen Thomas Paradatheth to group chief technology officer (GCTO), effective October 1, 2022.

As Grab’s GCTO, Paradatheth will be responsible for driving Grab’s technology vision, strategy and execution across its deliveries, mobility and financial services businesses. He will focus on strengthening Grab’s technical infrastructure to enable deeper superapp synergies and faster product innovation, with the goal of providing partners and consumers with the most efficient, reliable and delightful marketplace for everyday services.

Paradatheth was Grab’s first technical lead when the company was founded in 2012. Over the past decade, he held both technical and operational leadership roles and founded the business operations team.

In 2020, he was promoted to chief technology officer of mobility, automation and platform excellence, deliveries and experiences.

Based in Singapore, Paradatheth will oversee Grab’s global network of eight research and development (R&D) centres, which draws talent from around the world to create impactful solutions for Southeast Asia.

Indosuez Wealth Management appoints two SG leads  

Indosuez Wealth Management (Indosuez), the global wealth management brand of Credit Agricole Group, has appointed two market heads for Singapore as it continues to enhance its focus for specific client segments in Asia.

According to an announcement, Indosuez has appointed Ong Yeng Fang as Southeast Asia global market head and Rosemarie Chong as ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWI) and wealth partnership market head, Singapore branch.

Fang leads the Southeast Asia market with effect from September 13, 2022. Based in Singapore, Yeng Fang is a well-rounded business leader with regional experience in wealth management, business development, corporate and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Indosuez, she was managing director and head of UOB Private Bank for eight years.

Chong heads the newly-established UHNWI and wealth partnership team along with Edward Hsu, managing director at Indosuez, Singapore. 

Before Indosuez, she was managing director of BCV Investment Asia, a Singapore-based Swiss fund management institution with core businesses in private wealth and asset management.
