Swiss private markets firm Partners Group is set to focus on the B2B technology segment in Southeast Asia over the next few years even though there are currently few buyout opportunities in this space here.
“The SaaS industry in Asia is still being built, and in many categories, the leaders are at just $20-50 million ARR [annual recurring revenue] in scale. But the core software metrics are clearly established,” said Partners Group’s managing director of private equity technology, Cyrus Driver.
