Despite driving into the unicorn club over a year ago and raising big bucks from formidable investors such as Gobi Partners, 500 Southeast Asia, and the Catcha Group, the company last month undertook layoffs that impacted “up to 10%” of its staff across its key markets — Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore.
