SE Asia Deal Review: Startup’s September funding hits lowest this year at $1.27bn

Fundraising by Southeast Asian startups plunged to its lowest this year at $1.27 billion in September, with just two deals worth $100 million or more, proprietary data compiled by DealStreetAsia showed.

The deal value in September was 76% lower than the $5.32 billion raised in August, a clear manifestation that investors remained cautious amid the heightened economic volatility.
