Fashion retailer V-Mart Retail (V-Mart) has acquired e-commerce platform LimeRoad for about $3.8 million. It further plans to invest Rs 150 crore to scale and achieve sustained profitability, said the company in a regulatory filing.
LimeRoad clocked net revenues of Rs179.95 crore in 2019-2020, which dropped to Rs69 crore in 2021-2022
Snapmint raises $21m in a mix of equity, and debt funding
Fintech startup Snapmint has raised a total of $21 million in equity and debt as a part of a Series A round led by Prashasta Seth, CEO & CIO of Prudent Investment Managers and Anicut Capital. The round also saw participation from Kae Capital, 9 Unicorns, and Negen Capital.
The company intends to deploy the funds to expand its merchant network online and offline to power the purchase of 550 million PAN card-holding Indian consumers, the company said in a statement.
