Waymo is expanding and now wants to offer itself in Los Angeles.
so far is Waymo in Phoenix and in san francisco represent. But soon you can also book a ride with a robotic taxi service from Waymo in Los Angeles. So far the areas have been explored and in the coming months the plan is to offer the service in the central parts of the city.
The plan is to provide a 24-hour service that will be accessible to all. Whether a group ride or a station further to the next subway or on an excursion. The company advertises with the accumulated experience of twelve years of autonomous driving.
However, with the 24-hour service, Waymo has also created a new unique selling proposition that has so far only been offered in the East Valley of Phoenix. But Los Angeles with its approximately 13 million inhabitants is a size larger. A potential of around two billion US dollars has been identified here.
Los Angeles is also the city of motorists and Waymo wants an alternative to this private car Offer.
