US pension fund School Employees Retirement System (SERS) of Ohio has approved a total commitment of $75 million to the latest Asia-focused vehicle of alternative investment giant Carlyle Group.
According to Ohio SERS’ board meeting highlights, the commitment to Carlyle Asia Partners Growth II was part of the $597 million that the pension fund committed to new private equity investments this year.
