Munich. The MINI Editions emphasise the central character elements of the respective models by focussing on exclusive and harmonised equipment and design features. From November 2022, the particularly authentic product personalities will each present themselves with new paint finishes that add a touch of colour to the lives of MINI drivers.
The power consumption figures for the MINI 3 door, MINI 5 door and the MINI Convertible as well as the MINI Cooper SE (power consumption combined: 17.6 – 15.2 kWh/100 km according to WLTP; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km) in the Resolute Edition will be available in the alternative paintwork finishes Nanuq White and Enigmatic Black. The roof and mirror caps can also be painted Pepper White or black to match. In addition, the standard equipment will now also include the MINI Driving Assistant, which features additional functions for improving comfort and raising the level of safety. In future, the MINI 3 door (fuel consumption combined: 6.1 – 5.5 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 137 – 124 g/km according to WLTP) the MINI 5 door (combined fuel consumption: 6.1 – 5.5 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 139 – 126 g/km according to WLTP) and the MINI Convertible (combined fuel consumption: 6.4 – 5.9 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 144 – 134 g/km according to WLTP) Active Guard will warn of impending collisions with a vehicle driving in front or a stationary vehicle. At speeds between 10 and 60 km/h, the driving assistance system also slows the vehicle down. The lane departure warning signals when the vehicle is about to leave the lane on roads with lane markers. This is also part of the Driving Assistant. And with the camera-based Active Cruise Control (ACC), in addition to the set speed, the distance to the vehicle in front is also automatically regulated in moving motorway and country road traffic. The system is active between 30 and 140 km/h.
In the expressive Resolute Edition, the new paint finishes are combined with the exclusive Resolute Bronze finish to highlight hallmark MINI design features. This includes the headlight surrounds, the radiator grille and rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side panels, the handles of the doors and tailgate and, on the MINI Cooper S, the air intakes in the front apron and the fuel filler cap. The brand logos and model lettering provide an attractive contrast, as do the inner frame of the radiator grille, the tailpipe trim of the exhaust system and the horizontal radiator grille strut of the MINI Cooper S in Piano Black. On the MINI 3 door and the MINI 5 door in the Resolute Edition, there is also a black strip running around the lower edge of the windows. The extravagantly individual look is emphasised further by the edition-specific bonnet stripes featuring a colour gradient moving from light and to dark gold.
Stylish individualist The MINI Untold Edition emphasises the exceptional character of the MINI Clubman in the premium compact car segment. The modern interpretation of the shooting brake concept combines sporty understatement with a high degree of functionality. Its interior offers seating for five and a generous, variable storage volume that can be expanded from 360 to up to 1,250 litres.
From November 2022, the MINI Untold Edition will also be available for the MINI Cooper S and the MINI Clubman John Cooper Works ALL4 (fuel consumption combined: 7.9- 7.4 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 180-170 g/km according to WLTP) in Midnight Black II. In contrast to the Sage Green paint finish, the side scuttles, which are manufactured using a high-quality 3D printing process, and the Black Band with the additionally available paint finish are then black instead of green. The unmistakable appearance of the MINI Clubman is emphasised by the specific design features of the Untold Edition to give it charismatic presence. Five narrow, parallel Sport Stripes run down the centre of the bonnet and roof.
Nature explorer and adventurerThe MINI Untamed Edition highlights the rugged appeal of the MINI Countryman and focuses on the vehicle’s off-road potential. The particularly stylish all-rounder with its variable interior and a luggage volume of 450 to 1,390 litres will also be available in Nanuq White from November 2022. In addition to the bodywork, the new colour option also covers the MINI logos, the rear and front bumper, the side skirts and the underride guard. The Edition-typical graphics on the door as well as the side scuttles and the E-logo badge of the particularly sustainable MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 (fuel consumption combined: 2.1 – 1.7 l/100 km; combined power consumption: 15.9 – 14.8 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 47 – 39 g/km according to WLTP) set an expressive contrast with the Frozen Blue Stone paint finish. The MINI Countryman handles everyday urban traffic just as confidently as it does excursions that take it onto unpaved terrain. The Edition’s namesake lettering – “Untamed” – on the side scuttles, the door sill trims and on emblems on the seats and in the lower steering wheel spoke underlines the MINI Countryman’s urge to be free in the Untamed Edition.
