Lotus Herbals invests in Yogic Secrets
Lotus Herbals Pvt Ltd said it has bought a 20% stake in nutraceutical products startup Yogic Secrets Healthcare for an undisclosed amount.
This infusion of capital will propel Yogic Secrets to scale up its operations in India and also expand to international markets such as the US, UK, Australia, and other mature markets, the company said in a statement.
Yogic Secrets, founded by Dr Anil Khandelwal in 2018, sells nutraceutical items to manage lifestyle disorders and slow the progression of chronic diseases.
In early October 2022, Lotus Herbals invested in clean-beauty marketplace Vanity Wagon in a pre-series funding. In January 2022, Lotus Herbals announced the strategic acquisition of a 25% stake in Conscious Chemist, a clean-beauty, D2C brand.
Roha Dyechem buys Saraf Foods
Roha Dyechem, a manufacturer of synthetic and natural colours, said it has acquired Saraf Foods Ltd, a freeze-dried agricultural product company, for an undisclosed amount.
The transaction provides an exit to promoter Suresh Saraf and his family and the company’s existing financial investors.
“Over three decades, after making the company very successful, we started feeling that Saraf Foods was not realising the kind of growth it is capable of. Hence, we decided to sell the company to a larger business house which is capable of taking this business to its higher potential,” said Saraf.
Danish investment fund IFU, early-stage focused venture capital fund DSG Consumer Partners, and UK-based Pedoria Group are the early backers of Saraf Foods.
