07.11.2022

The results of the sixth test series 2022. 5 STARS: NIO eT7 480 kW AWD automatic, RENAULT Megane E-Tech EV60 160 kW FWD automatic and TESLA 208 kW electric RWD automatic

NIO eT7

The car – equipped with two electric motors, one per axle, and all-wheel drive – has a power of 480 kW and a 100 kWh battery (the 75 kWh variant is also offered). Despite the high mass, the Chinese car demonstrates a high overall efficiency. The absence of polluting exhaust gas emissions, the high energy efficiency and the relatively low greenhouse gas emissions, give the NIO eT7 a weighted index of 9.6 out of 10 and, therefore, 5 stars.

Renault Megane E-Tech

The Renault Megane E-Tech EV60 has a claimed battery capacity of 60kWh, power of 160kW, single electric motor and front-wheel drive. The values in the standard tests are very good but increase in the motorway test. The results of the short urban trip are noteworthy: the Megane used only 11.8 kWh / 100 km. The French car reaches the weighted index of 9.6 out of 10 and, therefore, is awarded 5 stars.

Tesla Model 3

In the Tesla Model 3 the declared battery capacity is 60kWh, power equal to 208kW, single engine and rear-wheel drive. In the highway test it achieves the highest score of all vehicles tested so far by Green NCAP: 21.1 kWh / 100 km. Greater energy efficiency in cold weather conditions and a further reduction in charge losses would help the vehicle to further improve its sustainability result. The overall weighted index achieved is 9.8 out of 10, therefore the US car also wins the maximum score: 5 stars.
