Ampere Electric COO Roy Kurian joins Baxy Mobility

New Delhi: After almost a two year stint with Ampere Electric, Roy Kurian has recently joined as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Baxy Mobility, the senior executive shared in a social media post on Thursday.

Baxy is a part of the Continental Engines Group, engaged in manufacturing ICE as well as electric three-wheelers. The vehicles are produced at the company’s plant at Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

In January 2021, Kurian joined the electric two- and three-wheeler maker Ampere, a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd, as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Prior to joining Ampere Electric, he was associated with EV startup Tork Motors as Sales and Marketing Head for over a year.

Kurian was earlier associated with Yamaha Motor India for almost 16 years where he was responsible for providing strategic direction to the company and driving growth for the Indian market. He exited from the company in 2019 as its Senior Vice President- Sales & Marketing.
