Opel Astra Electric
The compact model is offered in two electric versions.
In the spring of 2023, Opel’s compact classic Astra will also be launched with a purely battery-electric drive. Both the five-door and the Sports Tourer combination variant will then be offered in the Electric version in parallel with the PHEV and combustion engine variants. Prices should start at around 40,000 euros.
For the drive, Opel combines a 115 kW/156 hp and 270 Nm electric motor with a 54 kWh underbody battery. The Electric is designed to travel up to 170 km/h and a range of up to 416 kilometers. The driver can choose between the three driving modes Eco, Normal and Sport. Opel specifies the WLTP consumption of the compact electric car as 14.9 kWh per 100 kilometers.
The Astra is equipped with a three-phase onboard charger as standard, with which up to 11 kW of charging power can be accessed at AC charging points. The battery can be filled up to 80 percent in 30 minutes using direct current at a quick charging point.
Lots of storage space
The Astra Electric Sports Tourer offers a 516 to 1,553 liter trunk.
Make speed
After all, the Astra Electric should drive at a speed of 170 km/h and over 400 kilometers.
The suitability for everyday use of the Astra Electric also includes a spacious and versatile interior. In the case of the Sports Tourer, the 516-litre trunk can be expanded to 1,553 liters if required. The external distinguishing features include a sporty front apron and 18-inch alloy wheels.
