After 15 months in the Dax, Puma is threatened with relegation from the first stock exchange league. Deutsche Börse regularly reviews its indices after 10 p.m. on Monday evening. It is considered certain that the sports car manufacturer Porsche will rise to the Dax. This will be implemented on December 19th.
The decisive factor for an index place is the average market capitalization of the shares in free float in the 20 trading days before the index decision. The IPO of the Volkswagen subsidiary Porsche was extraordinarily large at 9.4 billion euros, and since then Porsche shares have gained around 30 percent.
