Coming off a successful 2022 Fleet Forward Conference in Silicon Valley, Fleet Forward is going back on tour for 2023. Free for qualified fleet managers, Fleet Forward: The Tour consists of one-day, regional events in which fleet operators can drive EVs and experience other new technologies behind the wheel.
Fleet Forward: The Tour will make five stops for 2023. The Tour will commence with a new stop in Phoenix on Feb. 23, and then return to Atlanta-Peachtree Corners on March 30. After that, the Tour arrives in Chicago in June, followed by a new stop in the New York metro area in September, then returns to Dallas in October.
Registration for the Phoenix stop at the Mesa Convention Center is open now.
“Tour stops are designed for fleet managers to experience electrification firsthand — not only behind the wheel, but also one-on-one with subject matter experts who are ready to help them begin with EVs,” said Chris Brown, conference chair.
The 2023 Tour stops will follow the same schedule as 2022, kicking off with a series of seminars in the morning. During lunch and networking breaks, attendees can interact with tabletop exhibits. After lunch, the program moves outside for the ride and drive.
“Our speakers will help fleet operators get started on infrastructure planning, charging strategies, and accessing grants and incentives,” Brown continued, “in ways that address the unique challenges and opportunities they face in their regions.”
In 2022, attendees got to experience vehicles such as BMW i4 and iX, Canoo Lifestyle Vehicle (LV) and Delivery Vehicle (LDV), Cenntro LS 400, Chevrolet Bolt, Ford F-150 Lightning, Ford F-250 EV Conversion from ZEVx, Ford E-Transit, Ford Transit 350HD Passenger Van from Lightning eMotors, Nissan Leaf, Nissan Ariya Polestar 2, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Volvo C40 Recharge, VW ID.4, and Xos SV05 step van.
The Tour stops lead up to the larger Fleet Forward Conference, which will again convene in November 2023 at the Santa Clara Marriott.
