New Delhi: Kaushik Ganguly has joined as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Clean NRG Technik, a part of the Bajaj Group.
The Mumbai-based Clean NRG Technik was incorporated in December 2021.
Prior to this, Ganguly was associated with Great Wall Motor (GWM) for over three years as the Director – Strategy and Planning. He had joined the automaker in Oct 2018 as the first senior-most employee of the company and worked out the entire Business plans for India, including its brand and product strategy.
He was instrumental for GWM to commit investments and the big plans for India. The company had proposed an investment of USD 1 billion (INR 7000 crore) in India. But things did not go according to plan after the escalation at the border.
In March this year, ETAuto reported that after the no-headways for the Chinese car company GWM, Ganguly called it a day.
In July, GWM fired all the 11 Indian employees working in different departments of the company. The development came after the US automaker General Motors (GM), which stopped selling cars in India at the end of 2017, also called off the sale of its shuttered Talegaon plant in Pune to GWM as their agreement, which was extended twice, expired on June 30, 2022.
In March 2021, Hardeep Singh Brar, director – sales and marketing, had also resigned from the company to join Kia India.
Ganguli’s longest stint of almost 14 years, has been with Maruti Suzuki where he joined in January 2005 as the Regional Manager- Parts and left as the Head- Product Planning & Strategy in October 2018.
Before this, he has also worked in Bosch India, 3M India, and KSB Pumps.
