Rob Bedichek serves as Ford’s executive director of Platform Architecture, working collaboratively to design, build, verify and deploy Ford’s next-generation software systems and services.
He comes to Ford from Intel, Inc., where he served as vice president and general manager of system software and simulation engineering. There, he integrated, led and grew teams in 12 geographic regions in architecture, operating systems, system simulation, prototype production, prototype fleet management, competitive analysis and cloud computing for engineering.
Previously, Bedichek was senior director of platform architecture at Apple, Inc., where he oversaw groups that created architecture simulators, silicon design verification technology and cloud computing for engineering workloads. He also was a Fellow at Advanced Micro Devices and a researcher at MIT.
Bedicheck earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master of engineering degree from Cornell University. He received his doctorate in computer science and engineering from the University of Washington.
