Private investments in Vietnamese real estate fizzled out after H1 this year

The Vietnamese real estate market, especially the industrial and residential segment, began 2022 on a strong footing, with private equity and real estate funds sealing multi-million-dollar deals.

However, the momentum fizzled out in the second half of the year as investors grappled with the fallout of rising global interest rates and other macroeconomic headwinds, besides local issues such as probes into property developers.
