Next January, LG Innotek (CEO Cheol-dong Jeong) will hold the world’s largest IT exhibition in Las Vegas. The exhibition will set up an open booth for the first time at CES 2023 to unveil a large number of new EVs and autonomous EVs.
LG Innotek has participated in CES at a closed exhibition in which only customer companies were invited and introduced products until now. This will the first time for the general public to participate with open booth in an exhibition.
It will set a goal to further solidify its position in the global market as a ‘total solution provider for future vehicles,’ such as EVs and autonomous vehicles.
LG Innotek will introduce new products related to EVs and autonomous vehicles using next-generation innovative technologies under the concept of “LG Innotek Where Innovation Starts” at CES 2023.
The booth will be set up in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), which is a vehicle and mobility technology exhibition hall.
LG Innotek will unveil its differentiated technologies applied products including, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) camera module, in-cabin camera, radar module, sensor fusion solution, and LiDAR solution.
Electric parts for autonomous vehicles, such as a 5G-WiFi combo module that optimizes the stability of vehicle-smartphone connection, are expected to increase in demand as the level of autonomous vehicles increases.
Electric vehicle components such as DC-DC converters and EV communication controllers (EVCC) will occupy a large portion of the exhibition. The LG Innotek’s independent product, wireless battery management system (Wireless BMS), that reduces the weight of electronic components will also be unveiled for the first time at CES.
It is also worth checking out LG Innotek’s new metaverse related products that are essential for the implementation of XR. They are based on high-performance optical technology, such as 3D sensing modules and display assemblies. LG Innotek puts effort into semiconductor substrate products at the exhibition.
CES is expected to play an important role in securing new customers since majority of LG Innotek’s customers are in North America.
LG Innotek will unveil an online exhibition on its website that replicates the CES offline booth when the CES 2023 opens. Detailed introduction to the exhibited products will be provided as well as various information such as sketches of the exhibition website.
This is a strategy to maximize the effect of hybrid exhibitions by providing multi-contents linked online and offline, and enhance values for customers.
CEO Cheol-dong Jeong said “LG Innotek has grown into a leading company in the global materials and parts market with the goal of ‘developing innovative technologies that open up a more convenient and safer future.’ This CES that will unveil next-generation innovative technologies to the public for the first time will be a good opportunity for LG Innotek to establish a company that innovates customer experience.”
