Brembo’s Sensify intelligent braking system wins top honours at Lingxuan Awards
Brembo’s pioneering intelligent braking system Sensify has bagged a gold medal in the chassis forward-looking category for its extraordinary strength, on the occasion of the seventh Lingxuan Awards.
The Lingxuan Awards (China Automotive Parts Industry Award) aims to discover and encourage companies and emerging players in the auto parts industry and offer auto manufacturers a tech-focused landscape of the supply chain. The Lingxuan Awards jury is composed of OEMs’ purchasing and R&D chiefs. Brembo’s Sensify was among the 161 applications from 129 companies.
Sensify combines the current Brembo product portfolio of calipers, discs and friction materials with digital technology and artificial intelligence to create a flexible and evolutionary platform that includes software, predictive algorithms and data management to control the brake system digitally, and individually customise brake response to enhance driving pleasure.
“We are proud and honoured by this prestigious award. The Gold Award given to Sensify represents recognition by the automotive industry in China of how committed Brembo is to providing cutting-edge, innovative, intelligent and sustainable solutions,” said Daniele Schillaci, Brembo’s Chief Executive Officer. “In the future, Brembo will accelerate on Sensify in China, to empower the development of electrification and digitalisation of the China auto industry.”
Sensify combines the design of the best braking components with the integration of a digital brain and sensors that control each wheel independently. According to Brembo, the result is outstanding car handling, performance and confidence.
