Delhi-based electric vehicle startup Hexall Motors has unveiled a range of cargo carriers under a Mammoth brand at the Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida with multiple load-bearing capacity and driving range options.
Hexall plans to cater to both goods and passenger vehicle space with a driving range of 110 to 150kms to cater to the different needs and budgets of its prospect’s buyers.
Speaking about the Mammoth Range Hexall Motors, a company spokesperson said “With our four products, three in the cargo and one in passenger range, Hexall aims to become the preferred choice of e-comm and third-party logistics solutions provider with our segment-leading load bearing facility and category-leading range from 110 km to 150 kms”.
Mammoth’s disruptive pricing “will help the customer to recover investment 2.5 times faster than products offered in the marketplace” asserted the company official.
Amongst the product offerings, the Mammoth L a big box carrier offers a cargo volume of 230 Cft with gross vehicle weight of 1680 Kg (Certified with battery)/ 2800 Kg (Capability) and cabin size of 94 Cft.
The Mammoth L offers 110 km range on a single charge, claimed the company.
The second variant – the Mammoth M offers a cargo volume of 162 Cft, with a gross vehicle weight of 1500 Kg (certified with battery)/ 1900 Kg(capability), and a cabin size of 94 Cft, and a 120 km range on a single charge.
Both the Mammoth L & M offer steering control and vacuum-assisted brakes and a driver plus two seating options as standard features, said the company.
The entry-level Mammoth S offers a cargo volume of 138 Cft with a gross vehicle weight of 1250 Kg (Certified with battery)/ 1500 kg (capability).
Its cabin size is 72 Cft and the ‘Mammoth S’ offers a driver plus one seating with an industry-leading range of 150 km on a single charge. As part of its features, the Mammoth S comes with steering control as standard.
In the passenger category, Hexall has introduced the Mammoth HOP Passenger version which offers the highest passenger carrying capacity of the driver plus 11 passengers offering a certified range of 110 km on a single charge.
The Mammoth Hop has a GVW:1680 Kg and offers steering control and vacuum assisted brakes as part of the company’s standard fitment.
Smaller versions of the Mammoth hop with 6+2 or 8+2 are also planned for unveiling soon.
Regarding Mammoths after sales & service, a robust sales & service program is being worked upon the company which will be shared with its potential customers during the coming months.
The company has started the process of appointing dealers and the deliveries of the vehicles will begin in June-July.
The OEM is seeking to garner a chunk of the cargo and passenger market in the next 12- 24 months is expected to seed the market with 3-4 new products in the next 12-24 months
