Revamp Moto Pvt Ltd, a Nashik-based startup, has bagged the National Startup Award in the ‘Transport Service and Infrastructure’ category.

Union minister of commerce and industry Piyush Goyal presented the award to the winners — Jayesh Tope, Pritish Mahajan and Pushkaraj Salunke (the three partners of Revamp Moto Pvt Ltd) — in New Delhi on Monday on the culmination of the Startup India Innovation week. Som Prakash, minister of state for commerce and industry, was present on the occasion.

“National Startup Awards 2022 acknowledges startups and enablers who have been instrumental in revolutionising the development story of India, and in demonstrating exceptional capabilities not just in terms of financial gains but also for a measurable impact on society,” said the Union ministry of commerce and industry in a statement.

Revamp Moto is a modular electric vehicle manufacturing company based in Nashik. It aims to provide sustainable adaptive mobility solutions. It recently launched its first electric bike, and the second product will be launched by the end of this fiscal.

“It’s a huge honour for our company. This award is a validation of our work by the Union government. This award will boost our confidence to continue to work hard,” Tope told TOI.
