Data Vantage: klikit, Atome, Asa Ren and Fairatmos add to coffers

Singapore-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup klikit allocated shares worth $7.6 million last week to a group of investors.

The shares were issued to investors participating in a new $5.64 million seed round and to SAFE holders from its pre-seed round announced four months ago. Recipients include Wavemaker Partners, Gentree Fund, AfterWork Ventures, Moving Capital, Nordstar, Global Founders Capital and Rocket Internet.

The company, founded in 2021 by former Gojek marketplaces VP Christopher Withers, offers a B2B platform that aggregates and analyses a restaurant’s food delivery orders on a single mobile device.

Buy now, pay later (BNPL) company Atome received $8.3 million from parent Neuroncredit Pte this week. Neuroncredit’s ultimate holding company is the Cayman Islands-registered Advance Intelligence Group.

Atome had received a cash infusion of $50.2 million from Neuroncredit last year. The BNPL platform claims to have partnered with over 5,000 online and offline retailers in eight markets in Southeast Asia and Greater China. It announced the K-pop group ASTRO as its global brand ambassador this week.

Jakarta-based DNA data company Asa Rén issued shares worth $6.1 million this week to investors, including Kejora-SBI Orbit, PT Cakrawala Data Integrasi and PT Diagnos Laboratorium Utama.

Indonesia-based point-of-sale platform iSeller allotted shares worth $3.8 million this week to Intudo Ventures, Beacon VC, Mandiri Capital and Openspace Ventures. The share allotment to the bondholders is part of a recently announced $12 million Series B financing. The round comprises $7.6 million in fresh equity funding.

Plant-based dairy alternative brand Noomoo received a little over $380k from Apricot Capital this week.

Fairatmos, an Indonesia-based carbon technology platform, received $60,000 this week as part of a $4.5 million seed round announced in December. The round was backed by Go-Ventures, Indonesian energy company Toba Bara Sejahtera’s investment arm Kreasi Terbarukan TBS, and Vertex Ventures.

The Parentinc, the company behind parenting content and community platform theAsianparent, more than doubled its revenue for the financial year ended December 31, 2021. However, its net loss increased by nearly 30% during the period.

Singapore-based B2B marketplace aggregator SourceSage doubled its revenue for the financial year ended June 30, 2022, while its net loss widened by over 50%.
