In recent weeks, Mercedes-Benz Group AG has announced several new appointments to its top management team. In doing so, the company is bidding farewell to its esteemed colleagues who have served in long-time and successful careers. With these changes, the company is strengthening the consistent implementation of its sustainable business strategy. In this context, Mercedes-Benz has now determined successor appointments for the vacant roles.
Michael Bauer, currently the Head of Production Sindelfingen and responsible for site management, will take over as Head of Production Europe/Africa on April 1, 2023, succeeding Florian Hohenwarter. Bauer’s successor will be communicated at a later date.
Kevin Binder, currently the Head of Finance & Controlling Mercedes-Benz Vans, will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Daimler Greater China Ltd. on May 1, 2023, succeeding Olaf Schick. The company will decide on Binder’s successor at a later date.
