Indonesian crowdfunding startup Kitabisa said to finalise $20m new round

Indonesia’s crowdfunding platform Kitabisa is understood to have finalised around $20 million in a fresh funding round as it seeks to expand its play in the country’s underserved insurance sector, according to two people familiar with the development.

World Bank member  International Finance Corporation (IFC) is likely to come on board as lead investor, while Northstar Group and Go-Ventures are joining the round, DealStreetAsia has learnt.
