Dassault Systèmes announced that Metaguise, a sustainability-driven modular metal architectural firm in India, is using Dassault Systèmes’ 3DExperience Works to facilitate cross-functional, multi-location, multi-stakeholder collaborations with real-time updates in a secure cloud environment. More than 220 projects have been successfully initiated using this portfolio of solutions, the company said.
The design and engineering applications of 3DExperience Works have helped Metaguise reduce its time to market by 35 percent and design errors by 80 percent, and improve project efficiency by 90 percent. The 3DExperience platform is also helping to augment Metaguise’s approach to façade architecture, where simulation and cloud technology are deployed to assess various factors like meteorological elements, wind loads, and static loads.
“Digital technologies are transforming the AEC industry and are dramatically improving human-machine efficiency. Companies that effectively implement these technologies have a competitive advantage. The 3DExperience platform
facilitates collaboration between design and engineering teams and provides a single dashboard for stakeholder coordination, resulting in a single source of truth. This will help with cost reduction, fewer prototypes, timely delivery, and faster decision-making. With Dassault Systèmes’ technology, Metaguise can focus on material consciousness combined with impact-driven outcomes through simulation and cloud technology in a rapidly evolving technological ecosystem,” Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, at Dassault Systèmes, said.
Designed using Dassault Systèmes’ Solidworks applications, the facades are uniquely designed, customized, and tested through simulation and cloud technology within the 3DExperience platform. The initiated projects are being run by the core-design center and several satellite design studios, with the 3DExperience platform’s powerful cross-collaboration technology forming the backbone of the process.
“Dassault Systèmes provides powerful and innovative solutions, allowing us to develop sustainable ways of transforming contemporary establishments. Metaguise focuses on detailed nuances of architectural design, thereby giving character to the building through meticulous planning and reducing our dependence on engineers,” Anuj Raheja, Founder and CEO, Metaguise, said.
Metaguise products, which are made of aluminium and its alloys, are designed to be long-lasting and have a low carbon footprint.
