Global venture capital firm GGV Capital is in the market to raise a combined $2.5 billion for a set of four new funds that will likely continue to focus on China, the US, and Southeast Asia, its latest filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) showed.
The regulatory filing shows that GGV is looking to raise the capital for four new vehicles, namely GGV Capital IX, GGV Capital IX Plus, GGV Discovery IV-US, and GGV Discovery IV-Asia. The filing did not specify the fund sizes of each fund.
