Greaves Electric Mobility launches new Ampere Primus electric scooter

Greaves Electric Mobility (GEMPL), the e-mobility arm of Greaves Cotton has launched its new Ampere Primus electric scooter with a range of over 100 km and a top speed of 77 mph, for an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,09,900.

Ampere Primus which can be booked online for Rs 499 is powered by a 4 kW PMS motor that can drive in four modes — Eco, City, Power, and Reverse — for optimum rideability. 

The electric two-wheeler is powered by a 3 KWh LFP battery technology with smart BMS offering longer charging cycles for its battery life cycle.
Sanjay Behl, Executive Director, and CEO, of Greaves Electric Mobility, sharing his views on the new introduction said, “Primus is a flagship electric scooter from Ampere which is perfectly suited for multiple usage needs of any Indian family. With Primus we will not only strengthen Ampere’s leadership in the electric last-mile mobility segment, but we will also appeal to a much wider range of consumer segments.”
