Pencarrow Private Equity, New Zealand’s longest-established private equity (PE) firm, has raised NZ$300 million ($224 million) for its latest buyout fund, Pencarrow VI.

In a LinkedIn post, Pencarrow managing partner Jonathan Goldstone said the final close of the fund coincides with the settlement of the new vehicle’s first investment, Shoof International, a developer and marketer of veterinary and animal breeding equipment.
