(NOTICIA EN BREVE) Ericsson, Deutsche Telekom y la empresa de conducción a distancia Vay presentarán una demostración de conducción a distancia llamada conducción a distancia en el MWC 2023 de Barcelona. La demostración contará con un vehículo eléctrico desocupado conducido de forma remota por un teleconductor capacitado desde un centro de teleconducción. Antes y después de que un cliente tome el control del vehículo, un teleconductor capacitado profesionalmente lo conduce de forma remota desde un centro de teleconducción. El caso de uso de teleconducción es un punto de prueba de caso de uso importante para L4S (escalado de baja pérdida y baja latencia), tecnología clave para aplicaciones críticas de latencia de alta calidad. Se espera que L4S reduzca la cantidad de redes redundantes requeridas para aplicaciones de latencia crítica. La demostración tiene como objetivo mostrar cómo L4S tiene el potencial para mejorar la calidad y la seguridad de la conducción remota.

La demostración, que se conectará en vivo a un automóvil eléctrico en Berlín, es un punto de prueba de caso de uso significativo para L4S (Low Latency Low Loss Scalable), una tecnología clave para aplicaciones críticas de latencia de alta calidad.
Este último hito es el resultado de nuestra asociación de innovación de larga data con Ericsson y nuestro compromiso compartido para avanzar en la adopción de L4S. Nuestra asociación con Vay, que comenzó en octubre de 2022, nos ha permitido implementar y probar L4S, lo que nos permite demostrar el potencial de esta tecnología para mejorar la calidad y la seguridad de la conducción remota.
El caso de uso de teleconducción es un gran logro para Vay, que es la primera empresa en Europa en conducir un automóvil sin una persona dentro del vehículo en una vía pública. La empresa tiene como objetivo lanzar un servicio de movilidad puerta a puerta sostenible y asequible con coches conducidos a distancia (teledirigidos) a partir de Alemania y EE. UU.
La demostración mostrará un teledriver operando de forma remota un vehículo en Berlín desde la estación de teledrive en Barcelona, optimizado con latencia gestionada 5G utilizando L4S. La demostración tendrá lugar en el Hall 2 de Ericsson en Fira Gran Via durante el MWC 2023 Barcelona, del 27 de febrero al 2 de marzo. Esperamos mostrar esta tecnología innovadora y demostrar cómo puede cambiar las reglas del juego para el futuro del transporte.

El enfoque de teledrive primero de Vay prioriza la sostenibilidad y la seguridad, proporcionando una alternativa a los servicios de movilidad tradicionales. La compañía tiene como objetivo introducir gradualmente funciones de conducción autónoma en su sistema a medida que se vuelve seguro y está permitido hacerlo. En el MWC 2023, Ericsson, Deutsche Telekom y Vay demostrarán cómo L4S puede mejorar la calidad y la seguridad de la conducción remota. Se espera que L4S reduzca la cantidad de redes redundantes necesarias para aplicaciones de latencia crítica, ya que admite el marcado de congestión momentánea en celdas de red con capacidad limitada.
